Aram Isabekyan was born on September 26, 1952, in Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan Fine Arts and Theater Institute in 1976 and has

taught there since 1979. He became an Associate Professor in 1990 and a full Professor in 1992. A member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia

and the UNESCO International Artists Union since 1982, Isabekyan has served as Rector of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts since

1994. He has received numerous honors, including the “Movses Khorenatsi” medal (2001) and a gold medal from the Ministry of Education and

Science (1999). He has participated in over 200 exhibitions and held solo shows in Yerevan, Paris, Aleppo, Cairo, and London, with works held

in museums and private collections worldwide.
