Stijn Zeigler

  • Stijn Ziegler began his artistic journey with street art, creating works commissioned by town councils around Paris. Today, his paintings are featured in

several galleries in both Arles and Paris. He approaches painting much like he approaches life—with honesty and simplicity. Deeply inspired by

music, especially jazz, his work embodies the freedom and improvisation that exist beyond academic rules. His paintings are marked by

dynamism and intensity, yet also reveal harmony and tenderness, expressed through bold palettes or the delicate

touch of spray and brush. Each composition seeks to capture the rhythm of music—its flow, vibrato, and the emotions it stirs in the audience.

Characters often appear with cubist-inspired faces, symbolizing the universality of music.

Training: Stijn Ziegler began his artistic studies at the Institut Saint-Luc in Tournai, Belgium, before continuing at the École Supérieure des Arts

de l’Image, Le 75, in Brussels. He later spent two years specializing in fresco and mosaic at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués

et des Métiers d’Art, Olivier de Serres, in Paris.
