  • Ashot Asatryan is an acclaimed Armenian artist whose work reflects his personal character—an educated, thoughtful family man whose

    daughters are dancers and musicians. His love of quiet observation, philosophy, and poetry is deeply expressed in his canvases, capturing the

    connection between soul and body in a way that resonates with viewers.

    Born in Armenia, Asatryan studied at the Yerevan Art Institute and today divides his time between Yerevan and Moscow, where he continues to

    live and work. His paintings have been exhibited widely across Europe, Asia, and the United States, and are represented in Armenian museums

    as well as in numerous private collections around the world.Recognized as one of Armenia’s leading abstract impressionist artists, Asatryan

    favors dynamic group scenes and elegantly poised portraits, setting his work apart from the more pastoral, plein-air styles favored by many of

    his contemporaries. Known for his striking use of color, texture, and composition, he continues to create works that captivate collectors and art

    enthusiasts globally, solidifying his place among the most sought-after contemporary Armenian artists.

    Training: Asatryan graduated from the Yerevan Art Institute and now works between Yerevan and Moscow.
