Anna Adiyan

  • Anna Adiyan is an Armenian artist whose career bridges painting, graphic art, and poetry. She graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts

of Armenia in 1995, after earlier training at the Russian Academy of Arts in 1991 under the mentorship of R. F. Karklin. Between 1995 and

1999, she continued her artistic development through intensive painting studies with S. I. Maltsev, refining her distinctive approach to form,

line, and expression. Adiyan’s professional affiliations reflect her standing in the international art community. She became a member of the

International Association of Graphic Artists at UNESCO in 1992, joined the Union of Artists of Armenia in 2001, and the Creative Union of

Artists of Russia in 2002. These memberships underscore her recognition not only in Armenia but also across broader artistic circles.

In addition to her studio practice, Adiyan has actively shared her creative vision through collaborations and publications. Since 2022, she has

been working with the Gala Art Gallery in Yerevan, and in the same year, she released Shadows of Words, a book that brings together her poetry

with her graphic works, showcasing the depth of her multidisciplinary practice.

Her artworks have been exhibited internationally and are included in galleries and private collections across Europe, the United States, South

Korea, Singapore, Russia, and Armenia. Adiyan’s practice continues to evolve, uniting visual art and literature in ways that invite viewers and

readers alike to reflect on emotion, memory, and meaning.
