Born in 1963 in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia, Aghasi Talalyan has devoted his life to the pursuit of artistic expression rooted in
Armenian cultural heritage and personal introspection. He began his formal art education at the Yerevan State Art College after Panos
Terlemezyan (1978–1982), followed by advanced studies at the Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts and Theater (1984–1989). His career
began early, with participation in group exhibitions as early as 1985.
In 1993, he held his first solo exhibition at the American Embassy in Armenia, marking the start of a prolific exhibition history that
spans multiple continents. Over the years, his work has been showcased internationally, including exhibitions in Toronto (2000), Saint
Petersburg (2007, 2009), Moscow’s Central House of Artists (2010), Kiev (2017), Berlin (2018), Beirut (2019), Sofia and Varna (2019),
and Naples at the Castel dell’Ovo Museum (2019). A significant contributor to Armenia’s art scene, he became a member of the Union
of Artists of Armenia in 2008, and has consistently participated in national exhibitions. Notable among these are his solo shows at Art
World Gallery (2011, 2015, 2022), Zvartnots International Airport (2016), the Gallery of Goris (2017), and his acclaimed "My World"
exhibition in Beirut (2019). His work was also featured in key thematic and anniversary exhibitions, such as "30 Years Later" (2014),
“Today’s Armenia” (2017), and “Autumn Salon” (2021). In 2022, he presented a personal exhibition titled "Talalyan Art" at Art World
Gallery, showcasing the depth and evolution of his creative vision. Most recently, in 2023, he took part in the 90th anniversary
exhibition of the Union of Artists of Armenia, continuing his legacy as a deeply engaged and respected figure in both Armenian and
