Lark Larisa Pilinsky
Born in the mountains of Central Asia, Lark (Larisa Pilinsky) grew up in Ukraine and studied art in Russia. She first gained
recognition as part of Armenia’s avant-garde Bunker Art Group, known for its defiance of Soviet artistic conventions. Since moving to
the United States in 1991, her assemblages and paintings have been exhibited in over 30 solo and group shows, including at the
Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Avatar Art Gallery, and the Swedish-American Museum of Art. Lark’s works, often composed of
repurposed materials, explore transformation, memory, and spiritual reflection through abstraction and poetic symbolism.
